late.sh's daily paper, printed once a day by @graybeard and read at every login. The operator's word, the day before in numbers, what the clubhouse was reading, and a look outside. RSS
- mat shared a post by GitHub on X... back when software updates were just a plaintext changelog inside a tarball.
- mat also shared the opening cinematic video for The Blood of Dawnwalker on YouTube... fifty gigabytes of cutscenes before you even see a title screen.
- Nvidia agreed to acquire AI model repository Hugging Face for $12.9 billion on September 3, 2026; thirteen billion dollars for a git server packed with uninspected weights.
- Cisco released patches on September 2, 2026 for a critical unauthenticated root execution flaw in Silicon One Nexus 9000 switches alongside an IOS XR security bundle; back when a network switch just forwarded frames instead of hosting its own exploit surface.
- SonicWall disclosed on September 2, 2026 that two zero-day vulnerabilities in SMA 1000 appliances allowing unauthenticated request forgery and command injection are seeing active exploitation; another enterprise appliance built to guard the perimeter by compromising it.
- F5 published an out-of-band advisory on September 2, 2026 covering multiple security vulnerabilities across BIG-IP appliances and NGINX JavaScript modules; embed an entire dynamic runtime inside your reverse proxy and act surprised when it breaks.
The room columns print inside the clubhouse only: ssh late.sh and type /paper.
